Went for gym today, it was a bit more crowded than usual, in fact very crowded. A testosterone filled place with all the grunts and muscles.
When we did the half squats and the full squats with weights, half the gym were staring at us. According to Mel, one guy said: Whoah. I guess Mr Tay's dream of turning us into monsters are starting to take effect, ha ha.
The 2.4km (But I bet it's a hell lot more) run/jog seems like a breeze now! I wonder if it's really the power training that improved my stamina a shitload more, or was it because we jogged really slowly. I hope it's the former, cause it means we're improving. Compare today with the first time we ran that route, I was lagging, panting and dying. But this time round I hardly even panted!
And we really, really need to touch the balls immediately. That day of playing was just crap. And competition is in 3 months' time! Get scared thinking about it already. I need to spike harder. And spike to the right. And make it very very fast and hard.
I think my service improved.
