And I realised something startling today. We are like the students in Brave New World when Ms Tan was going through the difference between imaginative poems and poems about imagining the other world.
"Each of them carried a note-book, in which, whenever the great man spoke, he desperately scribbled, straight from the horse's mouth."
The last phrase popped into my head during the lesson.
"... and the more zealous students recorded his intention in their notebooks"
".. the pencils scurried illegibly across the pages"
Eeeks :S Freaky. And I really must think (fast) before I speak next time. And not speak before not really knowing what I am going to say next.
In the middle of some discussion:
I said, "Confucius said something". I meant to say a quote from him but I forgot at that moment. Something seemed like a smart replacement -.-
*Class burst into laughter*
Ms Tan: "Yes he did." While she looked at me with mirth in her eyes. Hahahahahaha!
P/S: Even I did recall seconds later it didn't seem like I redeemed myself oh gosh hahahha!
