I don't know how or why being offered such a beautiful view of the stars in the skies could make my heart so much lighter, happier. I could walk backwards on the way home to absorb it in, instead of furtive glances upwards, if not for the curious glances that come my way.
I need to remember moments such as these, when I get a light through a peephole in my cardboard box. I need to remember my dreams, my hopes and the promise to get there.
To be free of all inhibitions and roam the streets
Live the life, leave the pain and the losing streak
Take a leaf from an old book, take the firemen lift
And then you might see what I've always wanted
To see.
Live the life, leave the pain and the losing streak
Take a leaf from an old book, take the firemen lift
And then you might see what I've always wanted
To see.
